A Break

Hello there people,

finally is j-popcon over, and wow it was fun even though I had a little stress on making the magnet headset, but I made it on time thanks to my friend Miku who gave me some materials,

I made four cosplays to j-pop and people liked my cosplays so I am happy about that, and also I made some new friends..

I will soon begin on my cosplays to SVScon and I only need to make three cosplays and that's a relief, but my plan is to cosplay Squalo from reborn, Len from Vocaloid and I dunno what the last cosplay is gonna be.. yet.. xD but I will start on my Len cosplay since I've been looking forward to make that cosplay, he looks really awesome in this and I will upload my progress as always..

But I will have a little break sewing so I can get more energy to make them.

well I will show you my Miku Magnet headsets I made

well here I used wonderflex  and some weird blue strings for kids and also some metal string

Then I sewed the fabric on and glued them together.

And the finished look, and I'm actually pretty happy with it.. : D

well yeah that's the headset I made... I don't really have much to tell since I haven't been making much... So I think I will stop for today and I will write as soon as I start on the next cosplay project..

J-popcon is close

Well hello!

been a long time since I last wrote something in here, but I've been so busy preparing my cosplays and also visiting friends.

but here is a little update for how it's going for me at the moment.

there is almost a week to j-popcon is opening it's doors and I am looking forward, I have finished most of my own cosplays which is Miku Hatsune (magnet), Lucius Malfoy (school vers.) and Alois Trancy. I still need to make a vest for my Gakupo cosplay and some props.

here is a picture of my new Alois Trancy vest, I didn't like the old one I made it was too light and missed the stripes it is finished and looks great.

And this is me with my Alois makeup and cosplay, I didn't have the bow around the neck in this but I do have it.

well I have been working hard on makeup too, so I have been shopping a lot around that area and I think I've got all what i need, I have also been experimenting around how to put on a better makeup.

so this is the makeup for my Miku Hatsune and I am pretty satisfied with it

yes yes this is some of my makeup I mostly use when I am cosplaying.. so many things..

so i don't have much more to tell other than I am getting busy for the next week, I will upload some pictures after j-popcon with my cosplays so you can see them.

so I will get back to work

Getting forward

New updates to tell you guys!
well I have been working on my Lucius cape and a skirt to put under the magnet dress and it looks grate when it is under the dress. even thou it was a hell to make but it was worth making it makes the dress bigger and more beautiful. the skirt took me a day to make so it wasn't that bad.
But I will post some pictures of it when I was making it.

I was using a pattern just like the original school uniforms, so I was doing this to 2,5 meters

Then I was sewing it together with the 'belt' that was going around my waist

and then it was done. and it looks so grate together with the dress.

well after I was done with the skirt I started on my Lucius Slytherin cape, and I am really happy with it, it took me two days to make the cape, so it went pretty fast. not so much to tell about how I made it so I will just upload some pics

sewed the first layer, went pretty fast.

 then the second layer and sewed them together.

and then it was done, or almost I need three chains but I haven't found three golden chains that I like so it must wait for a while.

so this is what I have made since last time, I still have some work to be done, but I will maybe take a short break.

Miku Hatsune

well just a small update on my progress for my Miku Hatsune cosplay : )
well J-popcon is coming closer for each day and I am so looking forward for it, even though I still need a lot work to be done before J-pop.
I have been working on my Miku cosplay and finally I've made the Belt! I feel so happy now!
so I will just throw some pictures in where I am working on it and the result.

Well here I am making the belt! actually I am working on the pattern that should be sewn on top of it.

Then the belt was made and I was so happy with the result and it fits me fine.

Then I finished the Bow and it is so pretty~

And then it is done!

All I need for the magnet is the Gloves and The head phones.
Also I am working on my friends Luka Magnet cosplay  and I will probably throw some pictures of that up where I am working on the dress.
Well it is soon J-pop which means I have to get my cosplays done! After the magnet cosplays I will work on my young Lucius Malfoy cosplay, and I am so looking forward to cosplay Lucius since I've been a big fan of him all the way through Harry Potter! So my friend bought a wig that looked like Lucius Hair in his young version so I tried it on and styled it like Lucius, and it was so fun!

And here is the Lucius Malfoy wig. I am gonna buy the exact same wig soon! : )

So~ I think this is enough for today. So I will go back to my work!

First Post

Well this is my first post on this blog,
but to tell you quick this is mainly for my cosplay hobby,
so there will come pics when I am working on my cosplays and other progress.
So I will do my best to update this blog while I am making my cosplays.

So I have finally begun on my cosplays to J-popcon 2011.
My cosplays for J-popcon is Miku Hatsune Magnet version, Lucius Malfoy young version and Alois Trancy,
I've already made Alois Trancy some while ago together with a friend of mine so it was some intense days of sewing.

So what am i working on.
Right now I am working on my Miku Hatsune Magnet cosplay for J-popcon 2011
so I will upload some pics here:

Well this was the material I bought together with my friend who is gonna cosplay Luka in magnet version.

So this is the upper part of the dress, this is the front and on the back there will be a zipper.

And here I finally sewed the lower part on and I was actually happy with it.


I still need to make the belt and the ribbon on the back, I will upload some pictures when I start on it and also when I am making Lukas Magnet dress for my friend.

I also got my Miku Hatsune wig yesterday and it is perfect I love the color so I will just show you the wonderful wig I got:

There you go, it is a really nice wig and the hair is easy to handle so I am a very happy person.
I also got Len Kagamine and Orihara Izaya wigs together with this one.

I also got my Crinoline that is for my secret project, I will show you some teasers for the cosplay. I am really looking forward to make the Secret Cosplay Project.
But I will go back to work for now~
